Join a Story squad

Our Story Squads serve an essential purpose in our church family; using their gifts to serve our Body and ministering to both those visiting and those who call this house home. Serving is one of the main means by which we love, connect, and live like Jesus. Please prayerfully consider which squad or squads might interest you and fill out the form below!

WELCOME SQUAD: We set the tone. We notice faces. We’re the first smile and the first hello. We create moments of connection and we strive to make people feel seen, known, and at home. 

FUEL SQUAD: We prepare the coffee, drinks, and good eats. We serve and clean behind the scenes. We create an inviting and yummy space for connection, laughter, and lingering in community.  

KIDS SQUAD: We love on kids and prayerfully, deliberately, and joyfully teach them the ways of Jesus. We strive to fulfill His command, “Let the little children come to me.”

SUPPER SQUAD: We prayerfully prepare the elements of communion and set the table where Christ’s grace is remembered and received.

SIGHT & SOUND SQUAD: We steward the sounds, visuals, and technology. We use our expertise to steward what God wants to do in our gatherings. 

PRAISE SQUAD: We steward and lead the musical worship of our church family. We create space to worship, praise, lift one voice, and rejoice in our God, together as His Body.  

PRAYER SQUAD: We show up, we lean in, and we lift up. We watch, listen, and stand eager and attentive to pray and create space for others to encounter God’s peace. Anchored in the Word, we stand in the gap and intercede with joy and expectancy. 

NOURISH SQUAD: We cook and deliver meals to families walking through big moments, hard seasons, and new babies! We show up when it matters most to warm hearts and, most importantly, fill bellies.

FIX-IT SQUAD: If it’s broken, wobbly, weird, or messy, we’re working! We ensure our Father’s house is safe, clean, functional and ready for gathering.
